If you go to C:/ windows/system32/imageres.dll, if you change that file you can change it, all you need is another dll file to replace it. I recommed googleing for new ones on the web, and there are programs out there that can do this for you. But if you are doing it manually, and are inexperienced, I recommed just grabbing a free program from download.comHow to change boot screen in Windows Vista Ultimate ...?
You can use any bitmap file as your bootscreen. Download a free app from stardock or tuneup utilities for altering your bootskin.

Have fun changing!
