I have just refurbished my Windows XP home to a new look, I am just wondering if it is possible to change the boot up screen from the green slider thing. To something more interesting. And how??How to change the windows Xp screen?

Many have had success with installing a program called bootskin.exe this is a program that will change it for you. However, look at the forums on stardock.com before you install it. Many people like it but as with me there is a fairly common problem with windows XP users that it crashes windows. I had to format and reinstall windows after I installed it and lost all my files. The answer is don't mess with it because it is a very risky thing to try and change.
