How to change the boot screen in xp without using any softwares?

What are you trying to change? The bios logo at boot, or the windows logo during loading, or are you looking to add in an additional screen for some reason?How to change the boot screen in xp without using any softwares?

The boot device screen? Depends on the computer, as some Dells or Compaqs let you select the drive onscreen with Alt-F1.



Others need you to change the boot order in the BIOS.



Or, you want to change the Splash screen?



A few systems have options in the BIOS to display or not, the embedded splash. Not much can be changed, unless you are good at programming in the BIOS, and then burning it in...
I don't really know what you mean !

But if you mean the desktop then you have to go to an empty spot on your desktop %26amp; Right click

and select properties then click the desktop to make a choice.
