Which key or keys do I push to get into bios screen to change my boot up configuration?I am installing a new windows and the only one I can push is f8 to take me into the safe mode option menu.Or if there is a free program that will allow me to boot from cd from windows instead of haven to restart the computer. How to get into bios mode at restart to change my boot up configuration?
some computer systems use the f2 button, some use the f8 and some use the delete button. if that doesnt work try control-alt-enter at the same time. you need to push the button in the very short period of time that you see a splash screen(usually has the shows the motherboards manufacturer). If you dont push the button in time you will need to try again. hope this helps. How to get into bios mode at restart to change my boot up configuration?
It should be the Delete key. That or F12. I'm pretty sure it's Delete, though.
F2 should bring you into your CMOS.
