I had recently tried the Windows Vista transformation pack. When I removed it, everything went back to normal but still has the Vista boot screen, is there a way i could change the boot (not the login screen) screen back to XP's? (I've already tried the system restore but failed)How to restore the Boot Screen in XP?
Try this simple way, go to your friend's computer (with XP) and copy a file named ';ntoskrnl.exe'; (C:\WINDOWS\System32\ntoskrnl.exe). Once you copied the file, go to your machine and replace yours with it. (go to C:\Windows\System32, copy and paste the file inside the directory)
