I was wanting to make my own Debian operating system and I was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction of any good literature or downloads. I've been having a lot of trouble on where to start. I would also like to know when I get around to it, if i could change the boot screen around, like put my own brand (etc. change Linux to Timux) just a thoughtHow to compile your own Debian?
Compiling everything from scratch is not easy, I would suggest you to compile a LFS first, its quite simple. Once you are comfortable with LFS you can go for debian
