How do i change the first screen i see once i switch on my laptop?(THIS IS NOT THE BOOTSCREEN)?

Hi guys,

i wanted to know how can i change the first screen i see when i switch on my HP laptop.It is displayed only for a few seconds and has the manufacturers logo but m having a difficult time changing it.I searched all over the net and all i got is how to change the boot screen or welcome screen. i m using windows XP and this screen is not the bootscreen as it comes before the bootscreen and displays the HP logo for a few seconds.You will understand if you use a branded pc and not an assembled pc as all branded ones have this screen on the start.Plz help!!!How do i change the first screen i see once i switch on my laptop?(THIS IS NOT THE BOOTSCREEN)?

Check your BIOS settings. You may be able to toggle between a graphic and what you see now.



TIP: That screen will tell you what key to hit to get into the BIOS.
