I know that it's possible to change this in Windows because it's done at the school that I work at but how do I do this at home? Is there an easy way for me to do it that won't involve crashing my system or somehow invalidating my OS?Can you/How do you change the boot splash screen in Windows Vista?
The only way I have heard about is hacking into a particular .dll system file with a special application
The way I know this is because I came accross lots of forum posts from people who had screwed up their folder settigns, lost icons, mangled desktops.
So - from that - I assume it is quite risky.
