i totally mucked up my pc set Resolution to high how can i change res before vista starts up?How to i change screen res before boot?
you can change res to boot your PC in Safe mood

Method

1. start your PC n immediately press F8 to boot in Safe mood

now open display properties than setting and apply settings



2. restore your system to previous date from Start- Programs-Accessories-system tool-Restore system

Start in 'Safe Mode', then reset the display settings ..
Your best bet is to go into safe mode. When your computer is booting hit F8. You will get an option for safe mdoe, chose it.
