hi, i recently installed a vista transformation pack for my computer with windows xp. i later uninstalled it. it still left some traces of it. my biggest problem is the xp boot screen. it changed it to the vista one. how do i change it back?

Try a System Restore to any date before you installed the transformation pack.Windows xp boot screen gone?
I think the easiest way around here would be to backup your important informations and to simply reinstall Windows Xp from the original installation cd.
