Need help with changing my welcome screen on Windows XP?

I've heard that you can change the ';background'; on your ';welcome'; screen. You know, the screen that appears when you boot up Windows? Well, I already have a background selected, but don't know how to put it on ( ~therefore replacing the original Windows welcome screen~ ). I have ';WinRAR';, if you know what it is. The replacement background for my welcome screen is apparently a ';RAR'; file and I think needs to be extracted to a location to get it to work and show up... Do you know what location I need to send my ';welcome screen background'; to? Thanks for all of your help %26amp; please only answer this question IF you KNOW how to do this!Need help with changing my welcome screen on Windows XP?
Your question is a little unclear. The Windows Welcome screen is the screen with the accounts with the little icons. You can't change that background.



The Windows XP BOOTING screen can be changed. That's can be done by reading the guide here:
