How do I get windows 3.11 to boot automatically from the dos screen?

I know that you go into notepad and open a file

then type win as the last entry and save changes

but iv'e forgotten which file i need to open

open the file autoexec.bat on the c:\



add the following line at the bottom:



win





thats all you need to do. if the file doesnt exist, create it. you can open autoexec from dos by typing:

so on the dos prompt edit autoexec.bat and type in c:\windows\win.exe
