i have a dell pc with windows vista home premium 32 bit. i never set up UAC with a password and never had a problem other than a wake from sleep issue that is still not solved. i downloaded a program update and upon restart my pc would not boot past the welcome screen. it will sit all day and spin the cursor welcome until i press ctrl+alt+del and the change password appears and i can do what i want from there. i contacted iolo, the update for which i downloaded (successfully) and they offered some techspeak about compatibiliy. i think the problem is coincidental to their download. i don't know what i'm doing. anyone out there that can help me gets my thanks.How do i get windows to boot past welcome screen?
