It sounds as if your hard drive went. You can replace it - a 500GB Seagate Barracuda 7800-11 should run you a little over $100. (You'll have to reinstall Windows, though - or go for Linus.) I doubt that any data on your hard drive is recoverable - unless you want to take out a second mortgage on your house. (Recovering data from a dead drive involves a clean room and an experienced technician, at the very least.)Disk Boot Failure Insert system boot disk and press enter.... please help with this!!!?
This happened to my computer a while back, I was told a few ways to fix it:

although this is a long shot: try Installing Linux, copy all the files you want from your hard drive onto something else. Then try and reinstall windows, Linux may be a fix for your problem of not being able to detect your hard drive.

That was the first thing that my friend tried on my computer, although it turned out that for me it was a hardware problem, if this is the case then you may need to take your computer in and have your hard drive replaced, although this is a massive pain.

You could try also try and install Windows on an external hard drive, then try and boot your computer from and external hard drive.

Hopefully something works for you, good luck =D
